As you learn more about Peak Dental Care, we encourage you to take a look at our new patient page ahead of your very first appointment. In it, you can learn about everything you need to know before you arrive, ensuring your time here is as comfortable, predictable, and efficient as possible. While you’re always welcome to give us a call to ask questions, you’ll find everything regarding first visit expectations, essential forms to fill out, and financing information.
As a courtesy to patients, we’ll send out new patient forms to you directly so you can complete them ahead of your appointment. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by our front desk and asked to a have a seat until the dentist is ready to see you. Once your name is called, we’ll perform panoramic and bitewing X-rays as well as capture images of your mouth using our intraoral camera. We’ll also complete a perio chart to better understand your gum health. We always allocate at least 90 minutes to new patient appointments so we have time to get to know you and your oral health needs. We do our best to accommodate a cleaning during your first appointment assuming no serious issues are present with your gum health.
New patient forms are one of the ways our dental office is best able to learn about your oral health as well as your medical history. While the forms we ask you to complete are available at our front desk, we recommend that you complete them on your own time and bring them with you to your first appointment. This way, you can expedite the check-in process and get seen by Dr. Baioni sooner.
With dental insurance benefits, paying for and managing your most essential dental treatments (i.e. exams, cleanings, X-rays, and other preventive forms of care) becomes not only easy, but predictable.
